A common place for mosquitoes to hide is in your rain gutters since water tends to pool there. Cleaning out your gutters regularly can be very helpful, and always remember to wear insect repellent for protection from bites.
Ticks – These miniature vampires are a threat to your family and your four-legged friends as well. They are among the most dangerous summer pests and are known to carry disease and harmful bacteria. Be sure to wear bug repellent and keep your arms and legs covered in tall grasses or wooded areas where ticks can be present and consult with your vet for tick protection products for your pets. To prevent an infestation, keep your yard clear of brush and overgrown areas that attract ticks.
Bees – Ouch! These guys can really pack a punch, or a pinch! In addition to being painful, many people are allergic to bee stings and can end up being hospitalized from them.
